Cultural Literacy
So even my mom didn't "get it" and I feel the need to clarify. Baby Elephant Walk is a song... kinda like Pink Panther or something. Check it out. (I played it as a kid on the piano.)
Baby Elephant Walk
Don't know how many people out there get the reference.
Sometimes I assume everyone will know exactly what I'm thinking all the time.
But you know what happens when you assume...
I need to share pics of something I made for ME later.
So a few details:
Appliqued elephant 38" x 38" Baby Quilt in Lily and Will II by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda.
Now back to the lovely stash of fabrics to play!

Modern Workshop
They are sooo saturated with color!
I had no idea how awesome they were until I had them up on the design wall.
Even hubby called them "vibrant."
It's Oliver and S's line Modern Workshop for Moda.

I had wanted to try a "Kaleidoscope" type quilt block for a while.
The hot pad came about as a result of my inability to throw away even the tiniest little scrap from these great fabrics.
I think these fabrics would also make a great bag.

Max and Whiskers
The finish of Max and Whiskers - whew that was a LOT of outline stitching!
Even quilted in the ditch.
41" x 34" of happiness.
And the pillow "inspired" by my child's disaster of a play area (a.k.a. my whole house) but I can't be too hypocritical. I won't even take a picture of MY play area right now. :o) Both are in the shop.
