Cherry on Top

A little quilting fun today with the happy cherries (Moda Mary Engelbreit Recipe for Friendship).
My adventure for the day entailed trying the technique I found here for the binding... FABULOUS!
The irony is that the binding was the "cherry on top" for me!
I seriously don't think I will ever do it any other way!

Much better fit, and I'm slightly humored that it's still a "knot" dress...
but those buttons my mom bought with the fabric were a necessity!
I love them!
Still have the best mom.

And didn't my little who do a great job at modeling this one?
Look at that baby attitude!
Ahh, she makes it so much fun.
