New Coasters

Had a coaster day last week... took me this long to get it posted.

I've been distracted, by my sewing machine!
I'm working on a Christmas table topper (I know, I'm being a little premature... but the fabric was talking to me!).
More of that later... and the boy baby quilt I'm making too!

Mill House Inn Quilt... and a New Pattern for Sale Too!

Done and done! Finished this sweet lap quilt - measures 44" x 57" - and made a pattern for it too.
It is the honeybun version of my other pattern - building blocks.
So if you want to make one too just hop on over to the shop.
On a side note, so far in the "stitch or run" debate... the stitching is winning :o).

Stitch or Run?

Quilt top needing borders... quilting... binding... maybe tomorrow I'll finish it.
Still, I had to show everyone because I love it.
These fabrics are just so sweet and feminine.
Definitely makes sewing a lot more fun when you just love the fabric.
I've also really started to like small piecing...
Honeybuns just might be the greatest things ever.
Somehow the smaller the bits the happier I am while ironing...
maybe I should start making mini quilts.
...on a side note - I attempted to play tennis this evening with the husband.
I probably need to do a little less sewing and a little more working out.
Saw this great quote online on day that made me laugh, "If I stitch fast enough, does it count as aerobic exercise?"
We'll see if that ever happens.
