L'Amour

The end of a long imprisonment.
Fabric jailed away for years waiting.
Waiting for the moment when it finally gets center stage.
And something happens in minutes!
Okay, maybe hours.
But it seems so much happier now.

One honeybun of L'Amour by Sandy Gervais for Moda. One wire wreath. Valentine rag wreath.
Love the texture and colors. And it even says love on it.

My Valentine

I had a very good weekend sewing up this little table runner in Cosmo Cricket's Chemistry for Moda.
Oh love.
I'm actually excited about Valentine's Day coming now!

Driving around today I found some fun places to photograph it.
Like this one with the little scallop chain in the background.

And this one on the barb wire fence in a bright green (in January) field.

It's 26" x 26" and in the shop with the pattern for your personal sewing pleasure :o)

Happy Valentine's in advance!

In the Treasury

Guess I'm not the only one on planet earth who loved the Valentine table runner... it made the treasury on Etsy... check it out HERE!

In Love

This one is in the shop already, but I just had to post a picture here. I'm so in love with this one that I'm working on another one for myself. I just love the puff of the appliqued leaves and flowers created by the background quilting. I've also been needing to add ric-rac to something - and mixing the quilting method was also on my long list of things to do. Not to mention that it is my personal goal to create something from every line Sandy Gervais puts out... I'll wish myself luck on that one as she's incredibly prolific. Life is like a box of Valentine chocolates, you never know how much you need something before you make it!
