SERIOUSLY!?!?
I last posted at the end of August... I'll bet everyone who reads this knows exactly what happened.
Yep.
The HOLIDAYS with four kids.
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, two birthdays (hubs and son) and Valentine's Day.
Sometimes I think we should get rid of half the holidays just because of the chaos they introduce in my life... but really, I do love them all.
Well, quilts.
There have been some made during this last HUGE absence of blog entries... so I'll slowly start sharing them, or quickly. I never really know.
Up first... the project that made me feel productive while I was tied up with twin babies of the leeching variety - the Farmer's Wife!
Every little block felt like I had completed a whole quilt.
And eventually I did actually complete a whole quilt. :)
In the shop.

Partly Cloudy
...with Sunnyside by Kate Spain for Moda.
Sunnyside is set to hit stores next month.
I can't wait to get more of it...
Especially the yardage.
(I got this fabric for doing something that I still need to share about. It seems like there just aren't any spare minutes these days to get to what I want to do... meh. Twins will do that to you.)

Modern Patchwork Christmas Tree Quilt Pattern
Sometimes I get so lucky.
Like today when the babies slept synchronously all day and I actually had time to do something.
Like this.
Merry Christmas!!

It's a little bit warm outside
but Christmas comes early for quilters.
Really early.
It's awesome.
The non-quilter world just doesn't understand.
Like the In from the Cold fabric line by Kate Spain that made an appearance recently.
I've had this idea swimming in my head for a while.
My very loving husband held the twinners for me so I could sew a bit here and there until it finished.
Which reminds me...
Parker Eli and Preston Emery haven't made their debut on this blog... oh, the sweet babies.
So much sweeter when they're sleeping too. hehe.
Back to the quilt...
It's wall-hanging size.
I do plan on writing up a pattern for it in the very near future... just tell those little boys to go back to sleep. :)
I had a bit of fun with the quilting.
It had me singing Christmas songs again.
I'm sure everyone around here really appreciated that part.
One more...

You're a grand old flag
My daughter has been singing and humming that song for hours on end these last few weeks...
It's driving me a little nuts.
On to important things...
I have a new project to show you in time for you to make one for your 4th of July "table-scape" if you so chose. :)
Easy peasy and festive stars and stripes from charms or scraps.

An Easter Dress in Ruby
Some Ruby and California Girl... I think.
It's been a while since I bought the fabric.
A little Easter dress for my princess. :)
Woohoo for one more thing on the "to do list" done before the twins arrive. :)
